Mind Mystics

I made this sophomore year in high school with the assistance of my father. He asked me if I actually wanted to do art for a living and after my response we took a photoshoot and began making this project.

This piece was created from tracing out the photos from a projector and pencil. This followed by layers of bronze and gold acrylic paint for the skin and a mixed pallet for the jacket to show change. I began to shift many things about myself around this time including moods, mindsets, styles, friends, and habits.

I have let my thoughts get the better of me for a long time, but this piece was going to symbolize me finding the answer to my thoughts and the desire to overcome whatever may approach my path. I will forever grow and improve my mind to be the best version of me possible.
